Haiku #9 originally was based around a couple of haiku's, one ancient and one modern - and a set of field recordings I made doing one of my favourite things - rockpooling.

The resulting piece is more like the tide returning to fill up the once tranquil crevasses of the pools, in that, I wanted to create the illusion of something small living in the rockpool suddenly being swept about and immersed by the sea, as the tide turned.

Artwork is created by data bending the audio file.
